FAQs

Q:

How many days a week do you meet?

A:

We meet 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Q:

How many students do you have?

A:

We want to keep our numbers small and keep our teacher-to-student ratios low. We have set our max. number of students to 24.

Q:

What style or method of teaching do you use?

A:

We use various styles of teaching in the classroom, including Charlotte Mason, Classical, and Traditional.

Q:

Is this program a Christian or secular program?

A:

We are a Christian program and do use the Bible in the classroom.

Q:

How do I apply?

A:

The first step in the application process is to fill out an interest form. This can be found under the information tab. Once your interest form is received, we will reach out to you to schedule a family interview. Interviews do not guarentee acceptance into our program.

A:

Tuition is $3000 per year, with a $200 discount for siblings. There is a $100 registration fee per child.

Q:

What materials do the parents have to provide?

A:

All materials are provided by the school. Students only have to bring a backpack, lunch, and water bottle.

Q:

Is homework sent home for the other three days of the week?

A:

While we do not send home work for the other three days of the week, we will occasionally assign special projects to be done at home and turned in on a specific date. These projects are meant to be fun and engaging. Any school work done at home is completely up to each family.

Q:

Do you have an attendance policy?

A:

While we do not have an attendance policy, we do expect students to consistantly be at school. We work hard planning fun, engaging school days, and it can be a disturbance when students miss a lot of school. However, we do understand that sickness and other things come up so we ask parents to please let us know if your child will be out.

Q:

What is your behavior policy or discipline procedure?

A:

Our first step in correcting behavior is to talk to the student about the choices they are making. If the behavior continues, we will contact the parents. The third step is to have a parent teacher conference to work together on the situation. If the behavior persists, termination will be considered. We work hard to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for our students. We expect full cooperation from both children and parents to make sure that enviroment is not disrupted. The full Parent Handbook can be found here.

Q:

What type of schedule do you follow?

A:

We follow a "Sabbath Schedule" where we attend school for 6 weeks and take the 7th week off.
